What's the Buzz about MOOCs?

Heartland Conference - Save the Date


Several members of the OSU-OKC nursing faculty traveled to Kansas City to present posters at the Concept-Based Curriculum conference sponsored by Kansas University. Anita Wingfield and Deborah Crow presented "Use of a Curriculum Development Model to Achieve a Concept-Based Curriculum." Deborah Crow and Sharon Johnson presented "A Constructivist Approach to Learning: Applying Concepts in a Critical Care Skills Lab.

OSU-OKC was well represented at the Oklahoma Association of Community College (OACC) annual conference in October. Andrea Stone presented two workshops, "Making Groups Work: Practical Strategies for Accountability and engagement" and "Defining Online Course Quality." Jason Stone presented "Faculty Mentoring: Building the Next Generation of Leaders." "Assessment of Student Learning as a Core Campus process was presented by James Anderson, Lisa Dillon, and Pat Reaves.
